'Dhurandhar': Trailer of Ranveer Singh starrer certified by CBFC; UA 16+ rating and runtime revealed

The trailer for 'Dhurandhar', starring Ranveer Singh in the lead, has reportedly received a "UA 16+" certification from India’s Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). Images of the rating card surfaced online, further fuelling excitement for the trailer’s release. According to the certification, the trailer runs for 2 minutes and 42 seconds. The buzz around the Aditya Dhar directorial is already building, even though the film is still three months away from release. 'Dhurandhar' is slated to hit theatres on December 5, 2025.The film features a stellar ensemble cast including Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, and Arjun Rampal, with Sara Arjun in a pivotal role.Speculation has long surrounded the project, with many believing the spy thriller draws inspiration from real-life national security operations—possibly linked to covert missions of India’s National Security Advisor, Ajit Doval. However, the filmmakers have not confirmed these connections.The first look of 'Dhurandhar' was unveiled on leading man, Ranveer's 40th birthday, July 6, 2025, giving audiences a glimpse of its gritty, stylish tone and espionage-driven narrative.
