In a video shared by the BCCI, left-arm pacer Arshdeep Singh shared the story behind the entertaining scene. According to Arshdeep, Morkel had a unique way of signaling the end of practice sessions.
"Morne said that as soon as our session ends, he will have a last move and he will pin me. Thereafter, there will be no practice," Arshdeep explained. He further added, "He has found a new way to call off the day, and he was just showing us that."
These moments of camaraderie highlight the team's spirit amidst the intensity of the series. India currently trails the five-match series 0-1 after a defeat at Headingley. The team will be looking to bounce back in the upcoming matches. Notably, Jasprit Bumrah is expected to play only three of the five games due to workload management.
