The vehicle, which Dhoni reportedly purchased back in 2009, underwent a complete makeover in Ranchi earlier this year. Its new design features images of fighter jets, tanks, helicopters and soldiers, giving it a strong military look. Dhoni’s admiration for the armed forces is well-documented. In 2011, he was awarded the honorary rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the Territorial Army. He has also trained with the Para Forces and even completed parachute jumps as part of his association with the Army. The World Cup-winning captain has often spoken about drawing inspiration from soldiers’ discipline and courage.
