The iQoo Z9 may soon have a new sibling. Following the launch of its mid-range Z9 smartphone, iQoo is rumored to be developing a "Turbo" version. Leaks are already circulating, revealing potential specifications for the upcoming device.
A recent post by Digital Chat Station on Weibo has revealed key details about the iQoo Z9 Turbo. The leak suggests the phone will boast a 1.5K display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, and a substantial 6000mAh battery.
Additional leaks hint at a 144Hz refresh rate display, a 50MP dual camera system, and support for 80W fast charging.
While iQoo has yet to officially announce the Z9 Turbo or a launch date, industry observers anticipate an announcement in the coming weeks.
In related news, iQoo recently launched the Z9 5G, with a starting price of Rs 19,999 for the base variant (8GB RAM and 128GB storage). It is available in Graphene Blue and Brushed Green.
The iQoo Z9 5G features a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED 120Hz display with 1800 nits peak brightness and DT-Star2 Plus Glass protection. It runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset with Mali G610 GPU. The phone also includes 8GB of RAM, storage options of 128GB and 256GB, and a microSD card slot for expansion. It operates on Android 14 with FunTouch OS14.
